Not too long ago Wayne Gretzky was dubbed “the Great One” and shortly after him Sidney Crosby was anointed “the Next One”.

Currently 17-year old Canadian Connor McDavid is already being crowned “the Next Great One” and he has been expected to go first overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft ever since Hockey Canada and the Ontrario Hockey League granted him Exceptional Player Status at the age of 15.
