The Edmonton Oilers won the Draft Lottery from 2010-2012. In those years they selected Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, and Nail Yakupov. They will again pick first overall in 2015, but this time generational talents Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel will be available. The feeling around the hockey world is that the Oilers really don’t deserve such a pick considering their abundance of high draft picks and continued failure.

A poll conducted by ESPN asked a few NHL Agents about free agent destinations. It turns out that Edmonton, Winnipeg, Buffalo, Ottawa and Toronto are the least desirable places for NHL Free Agents to sign. There might some obvious reasons why some places are not as attractive as others. Read more
